With this entirely free fruit festival, Setia was aiming to take market patrons on a tasteful journey, build bridges between the Malaysian and Australian cultures and celebrate its presence in Melbourne.
Held at the first Night Market of the summer season, right at the heart of the iconic Queen Victoria Market, this community event was the opportunity for Setia to gather the local Malaysian community and bring some of its original culture in Melbourne.
The event drew about 5000 attendees, mostly families, who enjoyed multiple stands in a stylish and friendly market atmosphere. Two abundant stands were serving Durian while other stands were handing out fresh fruit juices, delicious fruit salad cups and exquisite punnets of strawberries and blueberries. Traditional drummers brought the final touch to this community festival.
