The main objective of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Competition is to identify and develop the next outstanding young chef globally. The 2022 Pacific Region semi-finals took place in Sydney and was followed by an award ceremony to announce the winner. Ten talented chefs from across Australia and New Zealand were selected to participate and competed before judges Peter Gilmore, Josh Niland, and Jacqui Challinor. The winner will go on to compete in the final competition in Milan. The gala dinner was a showcase of haute cuisine and talent, attended by prominent industry leaders, media representatives, and well-known celebrity chefs.
